Two Lewistown apartments were stuck on aging oil boilers, one with a tank already leaking, and window units for summer. No basement space meant a ducted system was off the table. We installed matching multi-zone mini-splits for each unit, three wall heads apiece, built for subzero PA winters, so both apartments now get real heating and cooling without a single new duct.
Free Spring Church of the Brethren was running two oil boilers at roughly 80% efficiency and eight AC units old enough to predate half the congregation’s current members. We replaced it all with Mitsubishi Hyper-Heating ducted heat pumps, twinning eight 4-ton units so no single failure ever leaves a section of the building without comfort, plus WiFi controls for a schedule that changes every week.
This Mifflintown warehouse needed heating, cooling, and tight humidity control for the product stored inside, but forklifts and tall storage made standard ductwork a liability. Working with Cox Engineering, we installed a 25-ton Trane package unit with dehumidification, make-up air control, and a flexible duct sock instead of rigid metal. Humidity stayed in check, and the building held its heat through this past winter.
Aldersgate United Methodist’s sanctuary had no air conditioning and stained glass too valuable to risk with a standard wall-mounted system. We installed two 4-ton Mitsubishi ducted heat pumps in the attic and routed return air through custom transfer grilles built into the vestibule doors, giving the sanctuary modern heating and cooling with zero visible disruption to the space.
